It's good to see you still writing stuff dude! I remember you pumping out many tracks back in the day and it seems you haven't stopped. I dug your sounds then and I still do man. \m/ good stuff!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

I always try to keep em comin!!

This is pretty cool man, I like the mix and the placement of the drums. Sounds very "brooding" with those organs behind things. If I may ask if you used a slayer vst at all? If so, you have made a good setting, with myself having tried for years to mess with Slayer until I inevitably bought ministry of rock guitars. good track PENTA!

PENTAhazardous responds:

Hi dude. First of all thank you for your very kind words man, greatly appreciated. Now about the track, I'm not using for quite some... long time FL Slayer bro, it really sucks tbh. I used to use it with some of the first Amplitubes... to me back then it sounded new and interesting but it was quite a stupid thing to do because Slayer already had distortion added to it (the preset I was using)... For some years now I'm using Kontakt and Shreddage X (try Shreddage 2 and didn't liked it much...) and as amplifiers and distortion Guitar Rig 5 or a very small plugin JCM900. Will re-write this one in the future for I'm not satisfied with the sound... guitar tones and some keyboards passages which are waaaay too much in the front... and maybe change something to the structure of the track toward the end... It has a... well emphasized atmosphere this tune... but there's still work to do to it... hopefully I'll get the time. Thanks man, will check your profile out as soon as I get some time. Horns up! \m/

This is pretty awesome man! It reminds me of Kreator or some early Exodus. I dig your mixing and the overall flow of this beast. Well done dudes! \m/

Thank you for stopping by and checking us out, we are glad to hear you have enjoyed the music! Stay tuned /.,/

Reminded me of the intro bit from advent children, with the low cello or violin spiz strumming. Incredible mixing here too, one thing I seem to fall short on, but you have nailed it. Get a nap dude, you earned it heh.

LunyAlex responds:

Advent Children, hmm, the animated movie? Used to watch it and go nuts when I was younger. Loved the style. Need to rewatch it. I like the association :D

Glad you like the mixing. Metal is harder to mix than Orchestral IMO, so there's that.

Cheers for the review!

I really enjoy this! The mixing and mastering is well done. being a Skyrim fan myself, totally could hear that deep vocal vibe. Good stuff Electron.

DL2Electron responds:

FUS RO DAH!

I love the flow of this song, It had great depth and sporadic time movements before the 2:40 mark which I dig a lot in any genre. Impressive piece man.

sybilsmith responds:

Thanks!!! It's going to be a hip hop song actually hahaha, but I wanted to switch it up.

I love Progressive metal for it's random twists and turns , but this is just as, if not leaning toward progressive trip hop. I love the changes and the many depths you take this track. i'm a stoner so this is definitely appeal to the likes of myself ha. Cheers man.

COLLAB SOON DAMNIT

Dude, this is your most creative work ever. The fact that you totally utilized the guitar work in the intro, already won the 10 but everything else just multiplied the creative sounds throughout the fold. I very much Dug the whole song, Definitely consider a realignment for another epic song, . 5* 10/10 \m/ metal \m/
btw. let me know if you want me to give you my guitar setup.

Holy shit.

Excellent sound quality, what did you use to record? Fucking epic guitar work all around, the lead riffs instantly kept me hooked. The vocals are brutal, this totaly rules. But i can't stress enough how well the sound quality is, i wish i could get the same quality from fruityloops but it's so damn hard. Anyways great work from all of ya, glad theres another metal king amongst us. (lol) Definately need to collab or something if your interested. Horns ! \m/

Devastus responds:

Thanks for the input, dude. I'm quite amazed at how well I got things together too. Trial and failure, you see :P

I use Cakewalk Sonar for recording and composing, and it required alot of nitpicky mixing and mastering to get the whole song into this state. It's sometimes rather annoying since you have to wiggle around with all kinds of plugins and buttons, but I guess I have a liking for that :P

Thanks for your review. \m/

10's for you!

because you're a winner! now i'm gona play this shits. (Whips out emulater) \m/
